@ben22

from other thread...

I just present Louise Yamada's POV because it basically aligns with that of my own...

With regards to planets, rocks, things spinning around in an expanding universe, and what is considered "money"...

Basically all I'd have to say that in 5,000 years of recorded history, GOLD had returned to it's ststus as MONEY more than 'how many' of the fiat currencies that have come and gone since then?

---

BTW... Not only is the universe considered to be E-X-P-A-N-D-I-N-G... But recently, it appears, scientists appear to have determined that the RATE of expansion is...

Accelerating...

It's expanding FASTER than it did before, and the curve appears to be accelerating...

Kind of like the dollars in circulation (it would seem) for all the socioeconomics connisseurs...

CV,

LY is a bomb tech, I always like to listen to her view. I checked TOS but they don't have a universe expansion study, but I did find a secret oscillator that revealed that LULU is surely headed to infinity....in the long run.

I'm rooting for OKC tonight, the young kids.

Prove dark energy and you have your answers... (Problem with answers though is that they usually seem to lead to a whole Pandora's box of new questions...

Cleveland Cavaliers get #1 & #4 pick in the NBA Draft...

Matthew said...

I wonder if Cleveland's #1 will grace us with another 1hr-long ESPN special on which team he will go to on free-agency.

cv said...

Maybe they can trade the picks to the Miami Heat for LeBron & Wade...

"When the maid's 4-yo baby was benching 75 pounds, Maria shoulda known something was up."

That's f--king hilarious.

Andy T said...

Cleveland gets the #1 and #4 picks?

Karma bitchez'.

That team should be able to rebuild quicker....they need to be smart with those picks....

Andy T said...

Without even knowing the line, I'd take OKC tonight...the Mavericks should be RUSTY AS SHIT.

There's little chance that layoff was a good thing.

Hope I'm wrong....cuz' you know now...I'm a Mark Cuban 'fanboy.'

Andy T said...

@Matthew.

I have to imagine the "Bron Bron" has some serious regret about how he handled that one...

He's going to look back on that in later life and say: "Wow, I was such an arrogant self centered asshole."

Well, at least I would 'hope' he comes to that realization....

SPX Monthly Returns 1950-2010

ALL my money is out of the market, not long, not short, even the 401K is 100% MMF. May change soon but I don't like what I'm seeing. It has nothing to do with the chart I made, chart is just fyi...

karen said...

"qqq" trader.. if you actually made that chart.. it is an impressive amount of data compilation.. thank you for sharing just the same. it certainly seems plausible..

really cool chart.

Thanks.

@ Karen, been a while!
Hope all is well!

and yes, I make all my own charts, did make many for BR but that's another story. Alot of data can be at times fast and easy to compile. Just wish I had more time to do this more often.

WRONG.

Dirk Nowitzki....wow.

That was about as close to perfection as you will ever see from an NBA player. Unreal.

Jordan is about to suit back up to get back his record of free throws in a quarter.

Hey Karen.

It's getting late now and the SP futures are creeping higher...as I had feared earlier.

Wish I had some "new" musical offering for you...

All I can put forward is some Adele:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rYEDA3JcQqw

I think it's pretty fascinating that the most popular/successful singer this year is a chubby girl from the UK.

Is this a great country, or what?

If you don't mind I would like to include that chart in the morning post.
