'Candle-wise', that last Candle doesn't look good, to me, at all..

how do you read that?

That's a bearish harami using the last two candles. But it works better when the short day closes below the midpoint of the previous long candle. That's why you're supposed to wait for confirmation by a lower close the next day following the pattern.

The negative print on the GDP today was the most interesting news to me in months...I suppose it means that ZIRP is not going to die in my lifetime...

..I read the internals of the GDP..but how do you explain this with this much massive government overspending going on?

...can it be that there's just a limit to how much government largesse we should have??

That's why the close is important with candles. The weekly chart is close to resistance (just over 8.50) so the bullish move may be over soon.
