AmenRa's Corner 1/15/13

In a secret room in the subbasement of 33 Liberty Street...
In brightest day, in blackest night,
No shorts shall escape my sight
Let those who worship the shorts might,
Beware my power, PPT's light!!!

http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2013-01-16/european-december-car-sales-fall-16-on-u-s-producers.html

European car sales in December plunged the most in more than two years as recessions in the southern part of the region cut demand at Ford Motor Co. (F), General Motors Co. (GM) and Renault SA. (RNO)

The actual decline is much worse than the statistics would have us believe, as sales figures for the year were artificially inflated as a result of self-registrations by dealers and automakers, especially in the region’s biggest market, Germany,” Peter Fuss, senior advisory partner at Ernst & Young’s Global Automotive Center, said today in a report.

...Stuffing the European Channel?

Funny how the MSM doesn't realize that car sales are primarily dealer stuffing and not actual sales to customers.
