I wouldn't be surprised to seer the sp500 test out the 1300 zone....

Some kind of classic end of year squeeze seems like a high probability event.

Taking year end noise seriously is an exercise in futility. The only advice I would generically give for holiday season is to keep positions light and fade big moves. You can't get a market tone until January.

I was thinking abot ~that, earlier..

~all of the Wags have been wall-to-wall, "on the Media", squawking about 'unending' "Retail Selling" of Equity MutFunds/ 'pervasive "Bearishness"', etc., et al. ..

+ I think most 'peep' that are, still, 'paying attention' to the 'Marts' are, fairly, "flat-footed"..

as well, ~1300 is 'only' ~5 1/2% away..

could see ~1330, pretty EZ-ly, I reckon..

It's really hard to gauge anything from Houston-ville....

But, went to target yday...a Monday....and there were no carts available. I had to head out to the parking lot to get one. Maybe it was just bad employee performance, but this was the second time in two weeks I had issues getting a cart at this target....

Don't know if anyone else has these ULTA stores....but I took my two daughters to one yesterday...it's a cosmetics type of place...I was AMAZED at how much someone could spend there.....

Rally on Wayne.

@Matthew

Hear you on that thesis.

We're probably headed higher but, it will be a fade at some point soon.

...it's strange

The investment seeks to replicate, net of expenses, the Sabrient Multi-Cap Insider/Analyst Quant-Weighted Index. The index is composed of 100 stocks selected from the S&P 1500 by Sabrient Systems LLC (the "Index Provider") using a quantitative methodology. The fund will invest at least 80% of its net assets in the equity securities that comprise the index. The fund may invest up to 20% of its assets in financial instruments that provide leveraged and unleveraged exposure to the index. It is non-diversified.

Was this move higher enough to give S&P cover to downgrade France?
