Fibo retracements, BITCHEZ.

I will get nervous at the 50% (1240) and the 61.8% (1270) retracements.
Although we do still have to keep an eye on fundies for fun.

You know, the FUN...

@Andy

And here I thought "spliff" was common nomenclature.

After a particularly brutal 18 last summer, a friend recc'd a joint prior to the next round. Focus and patience much improved (somewhere this side of a tree dwelling sloth or Jason Dufner...take your pick)...I took 6 strokes off my game...which admittedly is no hell to begin with. Same thing this summer.

As El Tigre's life coach...it would behoove you to try it for yourself:-)

As an aside...I'm reminded Bill "Spaceman" Lee probably pitched a few games while under the influence. It didn't hurt his game and made for some colorful commentary.

speaking of "The Striped One" & A. Agassi..

will Eldrick , really, be able to score someone like S. Graff?

and, not that it matters, much, at this juncture, but, I don't think that having ol' Willy Wobble, the 'childhood friend', on the Bag, is going to be a + for Tiger..

He gained a tremendous amount from having that Bouncer/Enforcer, Williams, carrying his Sticks..

and, those new 'Moon-Boots' he's wearing, as 'Golf Shoes', have to be, at the min., throwing off his Posture/Alignment...

past all that, was good to see Keegan Bradley win. esp. after coming back from that Triple on 15...

There's way more to Golf than El Tigre, or, even, Philly Mick--as great as, both, have been..

@ben @Andy

Just checked & saw both you guys registered in Booey's league...

Good work... Should be a fun season...

Both of you ought to e-mail Booey (gerald) at the league e-mail address & introuce yourselves (referencing my league from last year)... You know - & all the courtesy "thanks" & such...

He'll give you his address to mail him the entry...

@AAIP

Most righteous to give the "ht" to Lee Trevino... I was remiss (but OTOH - I thought about it & figured that one would fly right over most peoples heads... Why am I not surprised it didn't fly over yours? :-)

Speaking of Lee... I think the US Open is at "Merion" the year after next (your nape of the woods - neck of the way - ht if you can find out who made THAT quote)...

Anyway... If my memory serves me (I swear I'm just going off the top of my dome here - not looking this shizz up)... The last time the US Open was at Merion... Lee Trevino won... Time before that... Ben Hogan...

I could be wrong though... The Schwab CAN be stumped from time to time...

NO BLOOd for cv on the Texans-Jets tilt tonight...

I know Rex Ryan is like 4-4 in pre-season, & I think Kubiak is something like 14-14 if my memory serves me...

Rex Ryan used to OWN Houston when he was dc for the Ravens, but that was all in the regular season...

In any case... Pre-season is all about 3rd & 4th stringers trying to make the squad... I can't see how the Texans are going to be deep enough to field a defense against the Jets scrubs (when Houston wasn't even deep enough to field a FIRST TEAM defense last year)...

But that's just me...

I'd be inclined to take the Jets & the points here, but this game is really a PASS...

Far Hills, N.J. - Merion Golf Club in Ardmore, Pa., near Philadelphia, will host the 2013 U.S. Open, the United States Golf Association has announced. The Championship is scheduled from June 13-16. It will be the fifth Open held at Merion Golf Club.

The most recent Open at Merion Golf Club was in 1981, won by David Graham. Other winners of the Open at Merion are: Olin Dutra (1934), Ben Hogan (1950), and Lee Trevino (1971). The 2005 U.S. Amateur was contested at Merion Golf Club and won by 's Edoardo Molinari. The 2009 Walker Cup Match will also be played at Merion.

"The membership of Merion Golf Club is very excited and proud to have been chosen by the USGA as the host site of the 2013 U.S. Open Championship," said Bill Iredale, Merion's championship committee chairman. "We feel that our East Course is a very special venue, a classic golf course which, while lengthened some 400 yards to accommodate modern players and equipment, still retains the same shot angles, bunkering and greens that challenged Bob Jones in 1930, Ben Hogan in 1950, Lee Trevino and Jack Nicklaus in 1971 and David Graham in 1981."

No other golf club in the nation has hosted more USGA championships than Merion. The 2013 Open will be the 18th national championship at the club. Previously, the club has also been the site of the 1916, 1924, 1930, 1966, 1989 and 2005 Amateurs; the 1904, 1909, 1926, and 1949 U.S. Women's Amateurs; the 1998 U.S. Girls' Junior and the 1960 World Amateur Team Championships.

"From the standpoint of length and difficulty, Merion Golf Club certainly answered the question of whether it could host a modern U.S. Open during the 2005 U.S. Amateur," said Jim Hyler, chairman of the USGA championship committee. "We are pleased to bring a U.S. Open back to an old friend in Merion. We have no doubt the East Course will provide a sufficient challenge for the world's best players."...
