I hate seeing that bear pic!

It's an unfair fight. True price discovery has been suppressed!

What the Japanese coach probably said to his team before the "upset":

"Great moments... are born from great opportunity. And that's what you have here, tonight, ladies. That's what you've earned here tonight. One game. If we played 'em ten times, they might win nine. But not this game. Not tonight. Tonight, we run with them. Tonight, we play with them. And we shut them down because we can! Tonight, WE are the greatest soccer team in the world. You were born to be soccer players. Every one of you. And you were meant to be here tonight. This is your time. Their time is done. It's over. I'm sick and tired of hearing about what a great soccer team the Americans have. Screw 'em. This is your time. Now go out there and take it."

[Borrowed heavily from the movie "Miracle"]

Cannot believe that:

a) I was in a car driving in the middle of nowhere while the WC game was on.

b) I forgot to record this game on my DVR

c) The USA gave up two equalizer goals with time running out.

d) The USA missed their first THREE kicks after hitting all friggin' FIVE against Brazil.

WTF.

Oh Well... "Any Given Sunday..."

Also, when I left the hotel in South Padre, Phil Mickelson was -6 and playing 'lights out' ...one back of Darren Clarke.

WTF Phil?

Andy T (9:58)

That's EXACTLY what the Japanese coach said... Only you left out the ending part where he said

"Oh and besides, they're just a bunch of overrated chokers if you REALLY put any pressure on & manage to not choke yourself..."
