Whatever previous thoughts I uttered about taking a shot at shorting Silver, please forget those ideas now. It's not 'acting' like a market that's about to take the ol' plungarooksi.

Silver's not exactly "lighting the world on fire" with it's peformance the last several weeks. One can still describe it as "congesting" near the lows, but we haven't seen that "thrust" lower type move that would suggest a triangle has completed. There's just nothing to 'hang your hat on' yet if you're short/bearish.

From a shorter term trading perspective, you just have to be sidenlined methinks.

I've added in a quick chart the "black gold"...the Texas Tea....

Think you have to buy the dip or the be the dip on this one right now. I've added in some shorter term support points.

Do we see 25 before we see 40, on silver that is?

SPX looking bullish to me today, after last weeks run-up, resting a bit before continuing. But, I just can't see it taking out 1375 anytime soon, or maybe even this year.

RE: Casey Anthony, The state didn't have a smoking gun, there wasn't any "real" evidence against her. I heard someone on the radio saying something like "just like the OJ case, the murderer got away". !Jebus! are these peeps frik'n stupid?

THX for the charts AR/T

Hey, we need a weekly/Sunday (anon) poll on this blog! (seeing how everyone that visits this blog is a wizard in their own right.)

OH, SPX cup formed?
Starting on the handle now?

Am I seeing things?

qqqq:

Agree on the Casey Anthony thing. It's not quite like the OJ deal...that mofo was definitely guilty....

This girl was either guilty or absolutely knew what went down...it's tough to get 12 people to agree on anything 'beyond a reasonable doubt.'

That's why most cases get "pleaded out" well before trial...it's in both sides mutual interest in most cases..

Andy T said...

Can 'visualize' that cup and handle possibility as well...thanks for pointing that one out. I didn't see it till you mentioned it.

Silver and oil joined at the hip. I guess IEA intervention is about as good as the BoJ's. Only good for a few hours.
