Only had time to look at the market for a few minutes today, using 18's... we my pause here for a bit...
Minor 18's
1368
...1359 ... 50%
1350
Major 18's sez 1375 still in play
Fun isn't it Andy?
Quick Andy Quick! Delete before anyone else sees what a crazy obsessed fuck you are
Who's deleting now hmmmmm? Annoying isn't it? Now leave us the fuck alone already.
qqqq
I still am of the mind that this week is EOM window dressing.
@AR
That's probably what my gut feelings were telling me when I sold the calls a bit early. sheesh, I bot almost at the bottom of that S&P downgrade dip too! Even though it ran up a bit more than 1350 and I said I buy again if SPX closed above that price, something doesn't feel right. But that's been the feeling for most... for a long time now... LOL
@Q's,
that 1375 target is really interesting for many reasons, those 18's are solid man, you've called lots of near term hits with those, sweet.
@Andy T
(other thread)...
I actually prefer to DEAL 'Tejas Hold 'em'...
But as a player... I'm a conservative type...
King & '9' minimum bitchez! (or it gets mucked)... At least for the first 50 hands or so... Then I can RAISE with a pre-turn 'trey'/'4' suited...
Now that I've revealed all that... I'll NEVER be able to sit down at a HOLD 'EM table with all u fellows here...
or even any passerbys who might prefer 'crazy 8's, or GO FISH'...
Oh... & FWIW... I think 'Cam Newton' was a POOR choice as #1 pick in the NFL Draft...
CV would NEVER have been able to 'cost that out'...
At BEST - He'll turn out like Vince Young... Maybe do a few things that make the highlight reel, but nothing you can build a franchize on...
But it figures... JERRY RICHARDSON is in the 'clown' strata of NFL intelligence...
CV's DRAFT scorecard so far:
CAROLINA PANTHERS - Cam Newton (stated above)
DENVER BRONCOS - Von Miller
I like Von Miller... But why is John Elway drafting Miller to play a "Will" linebacker in a 4-3 scheme?... Miller would be a better fit in a 3-4...
BUFFALO BILLS - Marcel Dareus
I think this is 'theoretically' a good pick... Well kinda... The Bills suck at stopping the run (and this will change that)... Yet - in the NFL you have to think DIVISION first... Miami, New England aren't really teams you need to worry about there... JETS??? well, they 'wanna' be a running team... And besides... The Bills need a franchise QB... But the rub there is... Franchize QB in Buffalo/Toronto??? WTF cares??? It's not New York or anything...
CV is kinda BLAH on the choice (in practice)...
CINCINNATI BENGALS - A.J. Green
It's what they had to do... T.O. is gone... 85 will be traded when the lockout gets resolved... If anyone even expects for Carson Palmer to set foot in the stadium again, they had to go here...
Not that it's going to help...
ARIZONA CARDINALS - Patrick Peterson
Perfect choice... Arizona needs to address QB issues, but Wisenhunt is the type that will trade for a QB (my guess is either McNabb or Kolb)...
CLEVELAND BROWNS -
SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS - Aldon Smith
I'm sort of surprised that they didn't take better athletes on the board here (like Prince Amukamara or Robert Quinn)... But it's interesting... New coach Harbaugh must be thinking that the division plays the AFC North schedule this year...
TENNESSEE TITANS - Jake Locker
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Project city bitchez...
DALLAS COWBOYS - Tyron Smith
Well, one thing this tells you is that they plan on keeping Tony Romo around (and want to protect him)...
This may BUST or be brilliant... I'd actually give them the benefit of the doubt because the NFC East has the Eagles, Redskins, & Giants... & unless they do some serious upgrades to line up against this, Tyron Smith might find life easy in Cowbots Stadium...
WASHINGTON REDSKINS - Ryan Kerrigan
Well, there you go... See? The Redskins are already going to challenge Tyron Smith... But it's kind of the same with Denver's pick... Why put a 4-3 guy in a 3-4??? Unless 'offensive minded' Shanahan is planning some changes while Haynesworth is busy fondling DC waitresses...
HOUSTON TEXANS - JJ Watt
I'll give this a good grade... Texans desperately need some defense, and I think Watt has that 'Clay Matthews' chip on his shoulder to succeed in the NFL...
MINNESOTA VIKINGS - Christian Ponder
WTF??? Are you kidding me??? I kno Minny needs to address the QB position... But COME ON MAN! He probably could have fell to the 3rd round...
Now you have to pay him 1st round money???
This is the 'Laverneus Coles' pick thus far of the 2011 draft...
DETROIT LIONS - Nick Fairley
OK... So Ndomukong Suh wasn't enough??? Now you need another 'stuffer'... At least 'Suh' had some pedigree... Fairley, so far, is a one season wonder...
Could be great... But really how? In a couple of years you're going to have 2 first round DEFENSIVE TACKLE contracts to negotiate...
I can't really see it...
ST LOUIS RAMS - Robert Quinn
Watch out people... But the RAMS have quietly been assembling a team that's going to have gone from 'doormats' over the past few years, to perennial playoff teams (doing it with VALUE picks)... DIFFERENT from 'The Greatest Show On Turf' a decade ago... Now the Rams are doing it with defense...
MIAMI DOLPHINS - Mike Pouncey
So Pouncey gets to stay in South Florida... His pedigree ought to be good... CV actually 'likes' the idea of guys who get to stay 'in the hood'... (Jared Gaither from the Ravens was a good example)...
The New York Giants are probably 'pissed' about this (not expecting a GUARD to go this early)...
JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS - Blaine Gabbert
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????/
Kinda like Jake Locker... I just can't see (if I was a GM) paying FIRST ROUND MONEY to any of these chumps...
Jax has another issue... They barely can put asses in their seats (& the NFL has awarded them a bevy of Sunday Night & Monday Night games this season in the hopes of them NOT moving to Bermuda, becoming the London Monarchs, or defecting to the Arena Football League)...
So... RANT OFF... Jack Del Rio may 'hang nimself with one of his ties next year... & yeah... I can REALLY expect Gabbert to learn the ways of the NFL from David Garrard (who took over for Byron SANDWICH)...
OAKLAND RAIDERS -
CV is gonna stop here because there have been a lot of traded picks... WHICH MAKES MORE SENSE TO ME THAN ANYTHING ELSE...
B22 thx, it's not me, it's the static 18's!
Another engineer at work looked into this and said some wild stuff about how this might work. I showed him the minor 18's first. He thought it might just be a coincidence. Then I showed him the major 18's. He looked more closely at them and said it happends to many times so maybe there is something to it.
Not going to get into everything he said, mainly because I'm not a brain surgeon and didn't understand all of what he was saying. What I got out of it was his calcs kept going back to ".9". So, I might be using 18's but the real number to watch is 9 (.9 X 10). I don't know. Another thing that was interesting was most major programs (I thought of trading programs) use random numbers in them for many reasons. He said something to the effect ".9" is the closest number to 1 that you can get. 5.2 is actually 5-1's and some change, 324.47 is 324-1's and some change. So any random number you use, it will reduce (or whatever he did) to just under 1, which would be about ".9". There was much more said but I was really confused. All I know is I use these lines in the sand, with a couple of simple indicators to plan my enter/exit points. And believe it or not, it has worked more often than not... so far.
I developed an indicator recently and am trying to incorporate the 18's into it. It somewhat works as a cycle indicator. Once I think it's trustworthly, I'll post it each day.
@qqqq
Your 10:27 isn't altogether untrue...
I'd have to dig it up... But i remember having seen mathematical computational theories that actually PROVED that .9 = 1...
Starnge as it may seem...
& starnge = 'strange'
so how co-incidental is that? :-)
CME hiked margins on silver 10% today. Second time this week because on Monday they hiked it 9%.
...and silver futures are still higher.

Wow. Had a good night of cards. Tejas Hold 'Em is definitely the game du jour. I split the 1-2 spot with a better player even tho' I had bigger chip stack. The key is knowing when you're probably outgunned even when you have more ammo. He's also a good friend....easier to just "chop" the top prize.
Of course, we to places of ill repute to celebrate.
Jake Locker...it's your LUCKY DAY.
Oh. Hey. There was a Thor sighting here earlier. Please note that no comments were deleted here. You can say whatever you want to say as long as it adheres to blogger policy.
Frankly, it's difficult to discern what you're talking about...you just sound like a blithering idiot above.
Anyway, who cares. There's more important things going on....like the fact that oil seems stuck up near $113/bbl which looks short term bullish.
Silver definitely pressing it into the highs....trying to bust through. It's getting more volatile which is a symptom of peaking, but I'd rather see it set a new high and trigger "some" RSI divergence before I go short.
Ok. So, Barry's now 90% LONG with no shorts as of end of April...let's keep track of that one. That's interesting for sure.
I knew there was a reason I couldn't sleep. It's 2:AM where you're at, jesus you're one twisted fuck.
Here's your drivel.
Also, Mexico is 4X bigger than Sweden and contains 11X as many people as Sweden...but who are we to argue with Greg Ip, a journalist.

"Small government is better than big government, but size is less important than quality. For example, Sweden's government spends more than half of gross domestic product while Mexico's spends only a quarter of its GDP. But Swedish government is efficient and honest while Mexico's is inefficient and rife with corruption. That's one reason Sweden is rich and Mexico is poor." Yeah, and the other is Mexico is run by Mexican Drug Lords and there is little enforcement of a legal system of any kind. Maybe just another small difference....
So here;s the delio Andy - I've left this blog alone since it's inception. You all know that. I have respected ALL of your rights to peace, I don't talk shit about any of you, ever. CV - thank you VERY much for keeping to you word. Man to man, I appreciate that very much. Andy, however, will not leave us alone. We have told him on more than one occasion, that if he cannot say something nice, or something that isn't condescending or rude, his comments will go into SPAM, and that's where they go - for all to see, all of our people are admins, and they all see what's in SPAM.
I'm sorry, but I have reached the end of my rope, so this is what's going to happen from now on. Each time Andy deposits one of his little stinky turds of wisdom, his comments will, as they have always, go directly to Spam. However, I will now start copying and pasting those into this blog. There's certainly no reason why we should be the only one's to suffer Andy's mental instability.
Disturbing, isn't it? I'll spare you the other 30. . . . for now.
Leave us alone.
