AmenRa's Corner

A place where a skillful caddy always offers cool contemplation when it comes to your "stick" selection.

Creditcane™: Need to use dark matter. Nothing else seems to work.

Shooting star day (even gapped higher). Midpoint above EMA(10). Still above SMA(21). New high on daily 3LB (reversal is 1228.05). QE2infinity.

Bearish long day (after three doji days). Midpoint below EMA(10). Below the 38.2% retrace at 80.63. Back below SMA(89) & SMA(21). New low on daily 3LB (reversal is 81.19). Indecision decided?

Bullish long day. Midpoint below EMA(10). Still below all SMA's. No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 18.01). Relocated to the "no fear" zone (for now). Currently it still has a monthly 3LB reversal.

Bullish short day. Still above SMA(21). Midpoint below EMA(10). 0.0% retrace holding. Closed above 14.6% retrace (1392.69). No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 1338.80). My precious.

Spinning top day. Midpoint above EMA(10). Above SMA(21) & SMA(144) and has been holding SMA(55). No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 0.8247). Keeps reversing once it gets above 0.8300.

Completed three black cows pattern. Midpoint below EMA(10). Failing the Gann 4x1. About to break below SMA(89). No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 40.30).

Bearish long day (bearish thrusting). The 0.0% fibo retrace at 23.34 has held. Staying above SMA(144). Above its 50.0% retrace (31.86). Midpoint above EMA(10). No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 30.17). It's not stopping yet BB.

Bearish long day (a confirmed hanging man? you're kidding me). Above all SMA's. Midpoint above EMA(10). No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 5037.57).

Bullish short day (but did gap up). Midpoint above EMA(10). Above all SMA's. Above the Gann 2x1. New high on daily 3LB (reversal is 296.22).

Bearish short day. Midpoint above EMA(10). Still above all SMA's. Above the lower trend line. No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 15.23).

when the bear comes back, I'm going to forecast this guy getting a lot bigger, and the tunes faster:

Senate passes tax cut bill. How long will the House hold out before caving in?

Maybe China is waiting on Congress to pass a bill that will put us deeper in debt before pulling the plug.

regarding the Chi/NE game-

yeah it was ugly- I had a feeling it may play out that way- still kept in Cutler, Olsen, Knox (I guess- why bother since my season was over in the SC league)

however- Urlacher made some good defensive plays- tipping the ball twice and almost catching the 2nd tip- a sack and some decent tackles- I didn't see Peppers do anything- however- they cut from that game and switched to the Mia/NYJ a little past half time-

but in the end- a team only has to be good enough to get into the playoffs- and the slate is clean-

AZ from 2 years ago is proof of that

I just want to say that, after reading all the comments from today, this is an interesting group of folks.

I'm in a Houston sportsbar watching the game. Go Texans. Lot of money (fiat currency) on this game.

I'm watching silver inch closer to 30 (again). Blythe is having another sleepless night.

My EURUSD had a bad tick for the Friday close. It was 0.1322 when it should have been 1.322. Two days in a row with bad ticks? Could it be a premonition of a euro flash crash?

AR, i have no clue : )

Gotta love them Texans. They're finding different nuanced ways to lose games.

First time I've bet bigger money on them this year--mistake.

I could've been a contender!

All of this discussion on Silver lately....and JPM ...and grand conspiracies...

Holy it time to start shorting Silver, or what? Sort of thinking some kind of options strategy might be best. Need to think about the best mix there.
