The TarHeels were very lucky to get buy the Ohio Bobcats last...that Ohio team had some 'game.' Came away impressed.

I was one of "those" parents who took their kids to the Thurs midnight showing of Hunger Games. Pretty good movie...it'll have more impact if you had read the books. Acting was really good and the sets/backdrop was well created. It could have been better. Lionsgate stock will probably sell off a bit next few weeks.

@Q's

from your chart

people living in poverty and the one right below that in orange

any overlap in those two groups?

either way, the question of the chart is a good one.....

B22, thx but don't go crazy on the clicks... lol, google will think somethings up if most clicks come from the same IP, maybe do .236/week, then .382, then .5, etc... LOL

yeh, some overlap I guess, if you read the "*" at the bottom of the chart, you see the numbers have been slightly adjusted ;)

Great read on housing

Interesting Chart on "Who's left to purchase a home."

The main home buyers I know are investors...I know a guy who has bought 7-10 homes in the last three years. All are in the 80-150 type of range. He's in the business of taking over bank owned deals, fixing up in a small way, and then leasing.

I think the Obamanator is trying to do some stuff to take away some of the tax writeoffs on these arrangements. It would be STUPID.

The market is working in some places...values have to fall to a point where people (with money) are willing to speculate and then rent them out.

I know another guy who is long a bunch of properties in Arizona. Same story...but there, it's even easier. Some of these homes are ALREADY being rented, but the old 'owner' just couldn't take the losses any more.

Let the markets work...
