Amazing coincidence!
The FOS factor is that he 'hides' the fact that he pulled the story from ZH (or Tyler Durden), & represents it as his own investigative reporting...

1. Zero Hedge is a mainstream blog, little doubt about this
2. It is also an angry retail hangout
3. They appear to post about 30-40 threads a day, in which case, it would be very hard to claim their content doesn't overlap with plenty of other sites.
4. They have their own brand of propaganda, plain as day to anyone that can think critically and they lie, constantly. One key example were the fanatical horse-shit claims about JPM's short silver position.
now, here's the thing, I see those links by Bruce, they are typically something along the lines of:
"chinese PMI drops for the third month, collapse around the corner"
"German exports decline unexpectedly in Q4, collapse around the corner"
"seasonally adjusted the u6 unemployment rate divided by the ratio of pi to phi means.....collapse around the corner"
"spanish bond yields skyrocket, collapse around the corner"
personally I think it might just be Bruce's way to say....here's what I came across this morning
anyway, my point is, pretty much every headline I've ever seen Bruce link, it could be found on many dozens of blogs, financial sites, or the yahoo home page.
really, are we going to pretend that ZH is first on each of these stories every day and Bruce wants to cover that up?
that is really some kind of puzzle that just got put together there, I think my explanation is more realistic.
also, I've had my share of disagreement with Bruce in the past certainly, but I find it hard to believe that he would go to such an effort to cover up that he visits ZH, in fact, if I'm not mistaken one time when I was being very critical of ZH he stepped up and said that it was a good blog if you could comb through a lot of the shit, he defended those guys.
