Morning Corner 12.23.11

Gold/Euro (weekly info)
-change (below mid)
trend=down
low= 1181.05
rev= 1328.19; mid= 1254.62

Last week the Gold/Euro dropped below its weekly 3LB mid and SMA(21). This week it's testing the 38.2% minor retrace. Notice that SMA(21) is still sloping higher.

Gold (weekly info)
-no change (below mid)
trend=down
low= 1597.90
rev= 1855.90; mid= 1726.90

Amazingly gold is much weaker in USD (/sarc). It's below the SMA(21). It tested and held SMA(55) last week. It's below the 61.8% minor retrace. It also has made a higher low this week.

I'll ask, again, who like the Philly Eagles, over Dallas, in Dallas, as the 10-star 'Lock of the Season'?

or, even, just to Win?

Go Seahawks said...

Ben22 - Yea go Colts LOL.

I mostly watch the Boise State game last night, which turned out like expected, to be a real yawner.

But it looks like the last 2 minutes of the Colts game was worth watching.

Now if the Seahawks can beat the 49er's, life will be pretty good.

Which Eagles Are Showing Up said...

AAIP - It kind of depends on which Eagles team decides to show up.

It the team that plays for indvidual ego's show up, Dallas cleans their clocks, if it is the team that is willing to put indvidual statics aside and play as a team for the team, than the Eagles have a good chance of winning.

MMutt,

note, I'm not an 'Eagles fan'..

it's from the NFL=WWF POV

LSS: a Philly 'Win' keeps the 'Hope Alive'--for, yet, another week..

and, not, necessarily, related..

It has been interesting to see the folks jump on the trade Peyton bandwagon. First, if he doesn't make the physical, he won't be worth significant other position players. Second, if he recovers, and it appears he is doing so, why on earth not start him? This fellow has changed the way pro quarterbacks play the position. And when he's traded you have what? Maybe an adequate replacement,maybe not. The USC kid can always be drafted next year if things go sour again.

Two words:

Ryan Leaf...just sayin'
(or Lamarcus, or ......)

I think the Eagles are going into "game on" mode at this point....

They've been looking spry for sure.

I'm definitely in full blown vacation mode at this point.

Merry Christmas to all my virtual/not so virtual friends out there.

That Texans/Colts game was pretty much B.S.

I've always 'sort of' bought into the notion that that refs can help dictate the games.

That was one for the ages on Thursday night. That was a horribly ref'd game.

Kubiak also called a horrible game....

So, Horrible Refs + Horrible Offensive Play Calling = Colts Win.

Kubiak needs to pull his head out of his arse pretty quickly....

s&p 500 rallying into the end of the year...

shocker.

Maybe...

Something bad this way comes and next week might not be the low volume melt up they were hoping for.
