Tested and failed 1110.02 (the .09 fibo from high). No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 1051.87). QE2infinity.
DXYBearish short day. Still below the SMA(21). Midpoint below EMA(10). Still wants to head for its 50% retrace. No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 82.92).
VIXBullish short day. Midpoint below EMA(10). Below weekly 3LB mid and monthly 3LB mid. Still below all SMA's. No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 24.45). Trending down on daily 3LB.
GOLDBearish long day (confirmed bearish harami). Or was there a massive margin call somewhere? Still above all SMA's. Midpoint above EMA(10). Was heading towards the 0% retrace. No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 1239.90).
EURUSDSpinning top day again. Midpoint below EMA(10). Held the 23.6% retrace. Still below the 4x1 Gann and the SMA(21). It's above the trendline (11/27/09-3/17/10). No daily 3LB changes (reversal now 1.2878).
JNKBullish short day. Finally closed the gap. Above the SMA(21), SMA(89) & SMA(144). Midpoint above EMA(10). No daily 3LB changes (reversal is 37.72).
10YR YIELDBullish long day. The new 0.0% fibo retrace at 24.69 is holding. Closed above the 14.6% retrace (26.94) and weekly 3LB mid (27.60). Midpoint above EMA(10). Above the SMA(21). New high on daily 3LB (reversal is 24.77).

I didn't think to do this before... But looking at that bearish harami on GOLD, it made me think to take a look at the MONTHLY 3lb scenario on gold...
It's hard to think, in this moment, that the 11/09 close wants very much to get reversed...
It's got my attention...

The last time the 10MA crossed over the 144MA was in early August...
At that point, the candles kind of flatlined for about a week... But the indices didn't do much, then finally gave way)...
I wonder if, sort of, the same thing might occur (being the RH-YK period)...
One SELL signal that I tend to lean on with equities is when the VIX pierces its WEEKLY BB's to the downside...
We're really not there yet on a WEEKLY basis, but the lower BB is moving up sharply, and if the VIX does another job like it did in August, we could be approaching that type of scenario by the end of this month...
It would appear that the bulls are attempting to not GORE the bears to death, but BORE them to death...
It's kind of working thus far...
