QQQQ,

Thanks for your reply yesterday. I was self-employed for 35 years, and I feel like a child again, not having to fool with government red tape, as I quit 2 years ago. The last 6 years I belonged to a group rather than a one man show, and even though I enjoyed the guys and gals, they were awful businessmen who couldn't keep overhead under control. After I left, they all went to work for a company. Sad, really, these professionals working for someone other than themselves.

I guess I haven't gone Galt, as there is no way I could be talked into going back to work, but I do think we will languish under Obama the next four years. And the incredible thing is, this is all a voluntary surrender to socialism. Amazing..

Why not start your own business?

According to Wolff, between 1983 and 2010, the percentage of households with less than $10,000 in assets (using constant 1995 dollars) rose from 29.7 percent to 37.1 percent. The “less than $10,000″ figure includes the numerous households that have no assets at all, or “negative assets
