Going hiking today, so won't get to see the end of the week. It does seem to me, though, that had we not headed off into a more socialist direction the last few (and coming few) years, we could have had a tremendous lapping of the field in regards to how productive the American economy could become. I see the numbers on personal income today, and the usual Sandy excuses, but think it is more likely that the people who produce jobs are battening down the hatches for increased taxes and the Obamacare tax. I think incomes will stagnate next year, but that is just one guy's opinion.

@BinT

My employer landed a new support contract with the Govt. It has been postponed for almost a year because we wanted a small raise (4%) seeing how we haven't received any kind of raise in almost 4 years under the old contract. (funny how that worked out... haven't received a raise since Owebama became Prez... just saying) But anyway, the contract was finalized 11/28 with a 2.9% raise and they are not discussing future rasies, either performance or cost of living. Also, had to sign that I'm an "at-will" full time employee with benefits that can be terminated at any time for any reason...

There's alot more but I choose not to talk about due to other papers I had to sign about disclosure of sensitive materials, which just about everything could possibly be deemed sensitive in their eyes.

This guy pretty much agrees with ya 100% and is just doing his time until he can retire... which I hope is soon :)
