was sort of an interesting day...how the market started to move when we got "hopeful" signs of concluding this whole debt ceiling brouhahahaa.....

The cynic in me didn't think the market was really that concerned about it ....

Have I ever mentioned that Ron Paul is my favorite congressman?

Shreds the silly GOP people in Congress....

If I told you the S&P 500 would be up 20 handles today, how would you expect the long bond to behave? I doubt your answer would resemble today's behaviour.

Re: Linemen
When I went to Ohio State, I had an intro chemistry class with one of our linemen (2002ish). He would come into the auditorium, lift the armrests up so he could fit in the seat, and then put a leg in each of the seats in front of him. He was just massive.

I never checked to see if he was pro-size, but he was up there in my opinion.

The max bench press of most linemen is around 500-700lbs. Their warm up weight is 300lbs. That's the goal of many who lift. They want to be in the "300 Club". Humbling to say the least.

Ra-

yeah, it was humbling. I'm not a small guy...

But, I felt really small this afternoon.

NFL Players are freaks.

I remember when I got Lasik done about 8 years ago....there was this professional wide receiver in there with me...

I asked the Doctor about the guy...he said something to the effect:

"He's rare. I get hired to check out the vision for certain professional football teams. A lot of those guys are 20/15. They just seem to have superior vision on top of everything else. Those guys are a like Superman."

Superhumans I tell you!

Pay them their money....

My "younger" cousin played five years in the NFL as a defensive lineman. He's huge (and it's not fat). He now is a personal trainer and competes in bodybuilding competitions.

...make that 10 years.
