It appears to me that Notre Dame would only be middle of the pack in the SEC this year..

Behind Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, A&M, and South Carolina...

..If we have a playoff, could it come to pass that actually 4 SEC teams deserve the spots, but due to the rules, only two get to compete? That a poser like ND gets in and say, Georgia does not?

Just wondering..

AIG may join bailout suit against U.S. government

(Reuters) - American International Group Inc , the insurer rescued by the U.S. government in 2008 with a bailout that ultimately totaled $182 billion (113.2 billion pounds), may join a lawsuit against the government alleging the terms of the deal were unfair.

The company confirmed a New York Times report that said AIG's board would meet Wednesday to discuss joining a lawsuit filed against the government by the insurer's former chief executive, Hank Greenberg.

They're claiming the terms were unfair. What if the government didn't decide to help. What then? Oh yeah. AIG wouldn't exist today.

That game was a masacre. SEC division games are championship games. ND looked like high school football versus the NFL.
