  1. nice pic haha

the 3lb monthly reversal is important, the monthly and weekly charts are at least helping some to provide some clarity, real tough last two weeks imo.

dxy looks like a triangle, if we are going to take the plunge in Sept S&P then bucky may final get a decent pop.

Bears have thrown down the gauntlet. The bulls have to get the SPX back above the monthly 3LB mid to turn the tide in their favor. Any trading below the monthly close (1218.53) is confirmation (but will only count on 9/30/11).

More Bad News For Euro Banks: SocGen, Intesa And Unicredit Kicked Out Of Stoxx 50 Index

Yes, you can't short them. But that doesn't mean you can't sell them. Which is precisely what index funds will be forced to do after the main European index, the Stoxx 50, announced that it will be removing battered SocGen, Intesa and Unicredit from its list of constituents (as well as that anachronism of a cell phone maker Nokia).

  5. Ra,

I'd not bet that we'd close above the mid by 9/30 but then a lot of people seem to be getting pretty 'cited about a QE3 in September
