Prices will rise by 600 yuan ($95) a metric ton starting today after the three crude grades tracked by the National Development and Reform Commission climbed more than 10 percent, according to a statement on the planning agency’s website yesterday. Refiners will charge 7 percent more for gasoline and 7.8 percent more for diesel, the biggest price increases in more than two years, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.

Looks like they are trying to trap and capture the bear.

Gene Sperling on TV talking about how we all have to have "shared sacrifice."

What does that even mean?

cv said...

@Andy T

"Your Share" of the sacrifice is higher taxes & higher food & energy prices...

Obama's share is 'slummin it' with trips to Mexico instead of Hawaii & Spain...

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/why-is-the-story-about-malia-obama-vacationing-in-mexico-disappearing-from-the-web/

Any questions?

qqqq..yeah, I know. Gas here up 18% in 3 months. Those that say that won't make a difference are simply not thinking...

and CV..although I don't share your eternal position on gold, I would agree higher taxes (or tax rates...) are inevitable...this is the end product of the Fed's massive stimulus and the government's deficit ramp up...

"Gene Sperling on TV talking about how we all have to have "shared sacrifice."

I think its sort of like how ALL politicians agree we need to "cut spending", just so long as it doesn't mean cuts on their pet project
and so in the end.......nothing!

I don't know who Gene Sperling is, but my guess is "we all" translates to "everyone else" in the back of his mind.

Americans all shared in sacrifice when we bailed the banks out by force and with no say in the process, so Gene, kiss my ass.

Market has spent the whole day trying to undo that first SPX 30 minute candle.

Gold doesn't appear to want to give up SMA(55) on the weekly chart.

Waay off the beaten path..

I've been using the Gillette "Fusion" Razor for a while, now..

really, to me, one of the best "Branded" 'CPG' (Consumer Packaged Goods)-items on the 'Market'..

anyone else have any experience with it?

negative?

as an aside, if one pays attention the 'Sunday' Circulars..there are, every so often, Coupons, usually coupled with Promotions at stores like Rite-Aid/CVS/Walgreen's, et al.

not unusual to 'Score' them, after Discounts for U$D ~2 (Razor + 2 Blades)..

I've been using fusion pro glide exclusively for what seems like forever now, I was using a mach one before that and these seem way better. I dont' like electric shaves much.

and you are right, if you hit the sales you can get them on good deals, the Rite Aid close to me runs lots of promo's on them it seems

overall I'd say I'm positive on fusion blades
