Morning Corner 11.8.11

GOLD (weekly info)
-no change (above mid)
trend=no
direction=down (2 bars)
low= 1622.30
rev= 1876.90; mid= 1749.60

Last week the trend in gold decided to turn bullish by closing above the weekly 3LB mid. It also closed above its 38.2% minor retrace. It's also back above all SMA's.

AUDJPY (weekly info)
new high 0.8080
trend=up
high= 0.8080
rev= 0.7400; mid= 0.7740

It appears that there was quite a bit of volatility in this cross last week. This week the direction is down so the highs last week will become a distant memory. It couldn't hold the SMA(21) or SMA(55). It's also rejecting the 38.2% retrace.

Feds To Test Nationwide Alert Wednesday

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/45203799/ns/local_news-miami_fl/

---

"The federal government will take over your TV and radio on Wednesday for a 30-second test of a system designed to inform the nation of major emergencies.

The test, initially scheduled to last for three-and-a-half minutes, will interrupt television, radio and satellite radio shows at 2 p.m. EST. State and local tests have taken place for years, but this will be the first nationwide, comprehensive test of the National Emergency Alert System. The system was designed to be activated on the President's orders in the event of a national emergency.

"The test is being conducted (by the federal agencies) as part of their ongoing efforts to keep the nation safe during emergencies and strengthen our resilience against all hazards..."

And as always peeps... If you see something suspicious... Rat on your neighbor & help send him to the gulag for cutting his lawn in an odd lawnmower pattern, or for clandestinely raising bunnies in the back yard...

what's weird, to me, about that 'PSU thing', is that that dude--who was charged(?) with "molestation"-- looks like (similar) to some of the Priests that have made 'similar "News"'..

I doubt he'll be let go, the officials at the school will likely let him bow out, it's bad enough a 50 year rep has been destroyed now

and that is super wierd that Sandusky does look like a lot of the priests that did similar things

personally i want to puke when I see the guy, and then kick his ass, he's pretty much managed to destroy penn state here....if they can't recruit, well, those of you that have been to state college know what will happen....

Spanier is a hosebag as well...

ben22 said...

they need to clean the whole house out, start new, it's the only way now

have some family there now for school say a lot of kids are thinking about leaving the school, lots of protests on compaus for spanier to step down

shame for him that he'd have to give up that 800k/yr salary and prime time housing location, but you know, when you cover up raping kids there are repurcussions.

so I just got off the phone with a client, his son got into PSU, parents are making him apply to other schools now, do not want him to go there

it's already started
