"Bursts of enthusiasm aren't uncommon in bear markets. But they should be watched with caution."

After the German Finance Minister said there's no miracle cure for EU woes, the bulls knew they needed oto lock the fence to keep the bears out. That would also mean that the G20 meeting is for naught. The market may start to reflect that reality before the weekend.

as I'm to understand it the sales tax would not apply to used goods

CV has talked a lot in the past about "underground markets" in Europe.....one could actually envision more good than bad coming out of a system like that, for starters, I'd bet you'd be seeing a lot less electronic equipment in the dump that still works...."

BINGO.

Wha?! A more efficient and less wasteful society? Say it isn't so....

(Re: 'underground markets' - Europe or, basically 'wherever')...

For anybody willing to get their testas out of their culos for just a few moments...

There are black markets for just about anything...

The entrepeneurial spirit is alive, well, & thriving...

Only problem is... Most miss most of the action because they waste their time buried in...

- political discussions
- stock charts
- Apple gizmos

Not that there's anything wrong with that...

TIDBIT

The 'sharps' (Vegas) are all over the Dolphins tonight... I WANNA GO THERE (really do)... But it's a non-starter 4 me...

I can't rightfully go with OTHERS telling me which way to go...

So I'm OFF this evening... I'm just waiting for Reggie Bush to come in score a brazillion fantasy sports because some coach from the 'card section' got into the owners ear... :-)

I keep getting asked about 999 in meetings, just had a 5 and a 6:30 and both of them brought it up

so whether the establishment likes it or not more and more people are at least paying attention to Cain

I knew once I saw him pissing so many people off I had better start paying closer attention to him

no politician is going to be perfect, generally though, he seems pretty solid to me on the surface

AT, for starters, think about how many plastic bottles that wouldn't likely just be thrown out under that system...

AT,

you made the point that krugman finds Koch's economic ideas of lesser value than say, his own.

I'm curious, does anyone know any examples of Krugmans students that have gone on to have good (great) business success?
