Hey, maybe you guys will link this as the new quote of the week.....errr, maybe not.....from waaaaay back late 2010:

"I read that line to Obama and asked how his high-flying rhetoric sounded in these days of low-flying governance. “It sounds ambitious,” he agreed. “But you know what? We’ve made progress on each of those fronts.” He quoted Mario Cuomo’s line about campaigning in poetry and governing in prose. “But the prose and the poetry match up,” he said. “It would be very hard for people to look back and say, You know what, Obama didn’t do what he’s promised. I think they could say, On a bunch of fronts he still has an incomplete. But I keep a checklist of what we committed to doing, and we’ve probably accomplished 70 percent of the things that we talked about during the campaign. And I hope as long as I’m president, I’ve got a chance to work on the other 30 percent.”

perhaps the remaining 30% was this most recent jobs bill, but you know, there's like, a whole year left, and as long as he's president, we are assured things will get done, so there's probably lots more exciting stuff in the pipeline

for example, one might consider a trip to law school in preparation for "what's next".... if you have the money that is.....why?, with the little gem in the new jobs bill that shows you can sue an employer if you feel you are discriminated against in an interview (not hired because you are unemployed).....there's probably a lot of money to made there over the next 5 years or so.

think it over during your weekend.....might just be the perfect time for a new career

also, the "prose and poetry match up"

is really quite hilarious

I seem to recall on the campaign trail that if you wanted "4 more years of Bush" then you'd vote for McCain instead of "change you could believe in"

but please correct me if he never said such things, or you know what he "really" meant

McB,

it's, way, too, too much like that..

what amazes me is that there are enough, of the 'Cained Peep, left, that approve of his 'Job Performance', to pack those photo-op 'Appearances' that he is shown "Leading"..

but, we should relax, b/c, paraphrasing "Ahab", ~"It's all Free, because it's paid for by Taxes~!"

so, it's All Good!/We've that going for us! (?)
