Maybe there is a fix for the electric car batteries: http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2011/flow-batteries-0606.html

QQQQ,

the copper thing doesn't shock me in the least, no different than tulips really, but this time is different according to many, I remain skeptical that it is.

Ra,

Who is going to win tonight? Huge game here.

Dallas doesn't want to go back to Miami down 3-2 that's for sure.

@ben (from the other thread)...

Whatever... Sure... It's all just speculation... They sit in a room like a bunch of National Enquirer journalists and just make it all up as they go along (just to impress about 3 dozen rednecks)...

All I know is... This s*** just looks weird to me... And it it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, then to me??? odds are it's a FUBAR duck...

But that's just ME (I'm just one voice & one opinion)... Which is why I comment on THIS blog (because there are OTHER blogs out there that either BAN you from existence if you don't participate in the groupthink... Or... They forensicly track down your IP number like a bunch of jack booted FEDS... Then BAN you from existence (for ALL TIME)...

---

The argument between you & myself (on such issues) is a WORTHY one (IMO)... I tend to sway to the "if it walks & quacks" side (not on 100% of the things I see - but if it's presented well, I'll give it it's due)...

OTOH - You tend to be skeptical...

As always... Time will tell...

For my part... I've just been confronted with so much corruption and crnoyism in the past 2 years, that I've had it with paper markets...

Eventually, they WILL die out (as all fiat systems do)... The only interesting bets, to me, is whether that will be sooner or later...

@ben

Oh, I forgot to link the part that looks starnge to me... (this is an ADD ON to the previous post thread link)...

@Amen

I don't want to barge in on the conversation that you an QQQQ are having on energy/fuel...

I've already spilled many words on these pages on that subject... So I'll just summarize here...

ENTROPY BITCHEZ!!!

The UNIVERSE & NATURE themselves, after (presumably) 4 billion years, haven't figured out a way to override the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd laws of thermodynamics...

I guess what we NEED then, are just a few more PhD's, or Nobel Laureates... As soon as we get those guys on the project... We'll be cruising...

cv said...

You see...

CV's 'design' (for a fancy whizbang [innovative architecture called a semi-solid flow cell, in which solid particles are suspended in a carrier liquid and pumped through the system])

...involves somebody mounting up on a horse & riding into town to trade the goods that YOU produced with your sweat, brains, & hands with ANOTHER good that somebody else produced...

---

But then... OTHERS would prefer to jump into the minivan, haul the little brats off to soccer practice, drive all over town getting this & that, burn tons of gasoline doing so (necessitating imperialistic WARS FOR OIL that they:

- either pretend don't exist
- champion the HERO soldiers for
- blame on the Republicans
- ignore (when liberals are in office)

It's such a tiresome existence, that you need to go 5 miles out of your way to get a Starbucks in the middle of it all (because you need some caffeine to wash down your xanax)...

So by the end of the day... You just want to cozy up to some mindless entertainment like American Idle or DWTS...

---

My take?

- Batteries for HORSES aren't needed

- Those whizbang batteries (that the MIT geeks are cooking up)??? Yeah - I suppose we NEED those if there's any way we're going to grow our ever IMPROVING LIFESTYLES...

Think about it for a sec... (really - take a sec)...

Think... Kinda 'Dr. Zhivago' or 'True Grit' for a moment...

Zhivago just jumped on his horse to ride into Yuriatin (not much filmage of the man/horse relationship there)... but it's implicit anyway...

Nobody effin cares about their car... 9 out of 10 don't give it any TLC (and the 1 out of 10 who DO are probably vain BMW owner wannabees)...

But you MUST have affection with your horse (something that UNDERLIES CV's deep affection with thoroughbred racing & even golf where nature & humans have to find a way to co-exist)...

Anyway... Love your animals... Love nature... & I think you're on your way to living a happier life...

But that's just ME...

Now- get back to the algos (cause that's obviously where the REAL story lies - because this planet could have NEVER made it 4 billion years without having been planned by those algos... right? RIGHT?)...

Remember too that this is all FREE INFORMATION...

Unfettered by 'ad spaces', 'corporate logos', requests for DONATIONS...

It's simply... FREE

So proceed to 'demonize' it, and criticize it's sophmoric nature at will... After all, it's AS CHEAP AS PRINTED DOLLARS...

Oh wait... THOSE are valuable, I'm told... I'm so confused... I'd better just watch basketball tonight...

---

BTW - Doesnt't PRECHTER's 'Socioeconomic' agenda suggest that GOAL oriented sports (like basketball) should do POORLY during rough economic times...

Well then... What's the explanation for the 24/7 coverage on whether the Miami Heat are just a bunch of whiny bitchez, and even Sir Charles Barkley himself has taken to saying he'd root for the Washington Generals in a hypothetical matchup?

Just wondering... (I suppose it has something to do with BIAS)...

The Dallas Dirk Nowitzkis. Very powerful.
