You ever use 18 (and its multiples) as MA?

@Amen

'Robinson Crusoe' duty is reserved for CV (easily in the top 5 of my all time favorite novels)...

---

In summary, I'd chalk up today to several things...

1. The 'co-founder' of Duran Duran came out and said he's 'Hungry Like the Wolf' for the dollar...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOg5VxrRTi0

OK, that's fine... But CV has been saying (since early this year that I'd anticipated seeing a 6 handle on BUCKY before the REAL rally came thru...

This is all just effin masturbation... Glidepath bitchez!... Bucky 'needs' to print an annoyingly lower low than 2008 before the famous SAFETY TRADE (bucky & UST's) get an erection... So that on the 'on the TECHY side, both sides get fluffed... 'Traders' (like the aforementioned co-founder of Duran Duran) get to splooge because they called the dollar bottom... But the LONGER TERM charts 'still' point to the dollar going the way of the Roman denarius...

So I'll just be patient and go with the 'Simon Le Bon' (porn) view...

...and as for CV...

Well- to all you former SURVIVOR CAPITALISTS... I still offer the same message...

AR, I've tried using 18's and multiples in just about all indicators I could find. Some work, until they don't. I've even used it with Heiken-Ashi charts (hourly, daily, weekly), which I like for a quick looksee of the trend. But what I use the most is support and resistance, probably the best trading tool there is IMO. Oh, another tool is me, ummm, I mean my gut feeling, which direction the market or stock is heading.

Damn, blogger won't let me upload pics... "Upload problems? We're doing maintenance, but things should be back to normal soon" ... pfft

Start pretending you're a ROTHSCHILDS, or a ROCKEFELLER... (or a 'Geithner', 'Blankfein', Dimon (DIAMOND), Fuld, Bernanke, Paulson, or, [INSERT 'surname' HERE]...

Then trade accordingly...

Hell - it even may work if you pretend you're a 'subservient' FACILITATOR class like (RITHOLTZ... or HORNGOLD (you kno who you are - and are probably reading this - which is why you hang out at a 'LIBER (tarian)AL' blog... Telling the world how things should be - but rest asured, everyone on this blog is too lazy to figure out what CV is saying 2 YEARS after the fact...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlBifX0H3yg

Jennifer... DON'T read this... It'll only upset you... It's all about the 'ticks' (after all)...

Those ones that the E-Trade babies move up and down with their software...

@Amen (9:47)

I'm still kinda pissed about that...

I'm KINDA still waiting for this SLV priapism (taking it to a "4" handle - to unload some STERLING oz's for some PURE GOLD)...

Every day, lately... Seems like I'm going to end up having to TOP TICK gold on that exchange (which - at minimum - makes me CORRECT on the recent [12-18 months forward] GOLD vs. SILVER 'arbitrage' call I made)... But doesn't make me any richer (INSURANCE wise)...

As they say in PERUGIA (Italia)... "Eh beh" (don't look it up - it's DIALECT - & probably hasn't even made it onto the internet yet)... That's what I LOVED about living there...

Yours Truly... Robinson Crusoe

In my experience... When I run into similar types of 'APOPLEXIC' behaviour... (note: if you're from ANOTHER blog, just visiting in, I apologize for the fact that you might have to LOOK THAT DEFINITION UP)... My apologies for the inconvenience...

Anyway...

CV tends to run to MIDNIGHT STAR (to cure all ills)...

IT WORKS!... In a weird way...
