Weekend Edition

Presented without comment...

---

Oh... & for you ladies out there... Since "The Oscars" are coming in only a few short weeks, it's time to start considering what type of dress & shoes you'll wear for the big night... Why not take some fashion tips from "the most stylish first lady since Jackie Kennedy"

Ghetting off AIR FORCE ONE

From behind (left - Princess Letizia of Spain; center First Lady Carla Bruni of France; right? you guessed it)

Just keep reminding yourself how "tone" those arms are!

"We just can't leave it up to the parents" (to dress you before you step out)...

Look - I'm AGAINST frivolous expenditures, but you can raise my taxes a little to buy a few mirrors in the White House... Apparently, when Hilary Clinton stole all the fine China from the White House, she took all the mirrors with her as well... Blue shoes, a green(ish) outfit, and panty lines... Better get crackin ladies, the Oscars are only a month away & the Red Carpet beckons...

(NaturalNews) Nearly half of all Americans now use prescription drugs on a regular basis according to a CDC report that was just released (1). Nearly a third of Americans use two or more drugs, and more than one in ten use five or more prescription drugs regularly.

The report also revealed that one in five children are being regularly given prescription drugs, and nine out of ten seniors are on drugs.

All these drugs came at a cost of over $234 billion in 2008. The most commonly-used drugs were:

• Statin drugs for older people
• Asthma drugs for children
• Antidepressants for middle-aged people
• Amphetamine stimulants for children
.......
really, amazing.. article a, fairly, short read..

CV -- I'm glad you're not there to capture me when I'm not looking my best! Point well taken. I'd like some of those spiffy shoes with the unmistakable red soles.

Little harsh CV....

But, I think it was funny.

On a side note, but somewhat related: Wonder how long it's going to take before we find out the "O" has a wandering "little O" in the White House. Men with power and money can't help themselves....

Just as LB was celebrating the signing of Suarez to the Liverpool FC, their star striker Fernanco Torres requested a transfer out of there. Liverpool....one step forward, two steps back.

@Andy T

Harsh?... Just illustrating what is real... I get sick of all the "carte blanche" treatment... And nobody else on the planet seems inclined to behave in any other way that what seems to be politically correct...

Evereyone (with something to lose), eventually just becomes a suck up...

Anyway, it was either this thread, or "comments" about Obama's "comments" on Egypt (which was another crock of s***)...

Yeah... wag your little finger and tell them how they need to act...

Violent protest IS NOT THE WAY... So listen to that all you little PEE-ON AMERICANS... DON'T EVER CRITICIZE ME OR MY ADMINISTRATION!!!

Just sit in your homes with a pleasant smile, and take it all up the a*** while I...

- Spend you, your kids, and your grandkids into infinity
- Pass laws for s*** you don't want or need
- My wife tells you how to pack your kids school lunches

I'll toss you a bone every once in awhile tho by telling you what team I like in the SuperBowl and how to fill out your NCAA Tourney brackets...

---

This is the guy that needs to tell Egyptians how to behave, and that Hosni MuBARAK needs to "reform"...

Oh boy... That's complex... Just REFORM... Yeah, that's all you need to do...

Hope & Change... You've been so wildly successful at that... Now it's time to REFORM!...

rolls eyes... (over and out)

here's one for you:

"Mental slavery is mental death, and every man who has given up
his intellectual freedom is the living coffin of his dead soul."
-- Robert G. Ingersoll

needless to say, I'd underwrite it.

OK. Heading out to Mo's Place to hang out with some Elitists Rednecks.

It's sort of a Honky Tonk type bar. Not really my normal haunt, but sometimes I get dragged there.

If I don't survive, you'll know what happened to me.

I can't get any good charts of Egypt at home, forget the count presented here, there's a fairly obvious H&S that just had its neckline broken

I would not touch this long right now

Very nice

Another guy said

"Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
Some say it's just a part of it:
We've got to fullfil the book."

McB,

'another guy' sounds, quite a bit, like Bob Marley..

Diet, injections and injunctions will combine, from a very early age, to produce the sort of character and the sort of beliefs that the authorities consider desirable, and any serious criticism of the powers that be will become psychologically impossible. Even if all are miserable, all will believe themselves happy, because the government will tell them that they are so. -- Bertrand Russell, The Impact of Science on Society 1953

@ben

Interesting chart there on the Egypt market. Can't disagree with the H&S look. He's labelled the progression down a "1-2" but it looks more like an "abc" down happening. The important point there is that the b-wave was quite time consuming...so, this move down should be just "the beginning" of a longer enduring move.

Anyone else the pictures of Herschel Walker in the Mixed Martial Arts gig? That guys almost 50 years old, but he looks like a bad ass.

ben22 said...

AT,

Yeah, I thought the exact same thing on the 1-2 which is why I mentioned the count the way I did, the look of it seems more corrective, the H&S is most clear in terms of how to trade it nearer term since neckline has been busted, based on minimum price objective I'd be interested in perhaps shorting any retest of the bottom of the neckline with an appropriate stop in place,.... if that even happens. It's not a complex H&S so you might expect that the decline won't take much longer to further develop and so any retest might be weak. Bottom line is that it appears further downside is on the way.

I watched the Herschel Walker fight last night, that dude is a brick house. I was impressed.
