Those shoes are to be worn barefoot?

b22 said...

Ra,

I guess so, or thats how I see everyone wearing them
I think you have to because your toes slide into the slots, socks probably wouldn't work, unless you had the socks with individual toe holes

I know someone that got a pair recently and they said the first week they hurt like hell to wear but then after that they loved them

they're ugly, I'll say that much about them

also a thumbs up for the QOTD. noice.

Ra,

re: tick

I really don't interpret tick really well, I struggle with that indicator

basically...I've got nothing on that front....haha

Usually used in intraday trading. Extreme readings usually indicate a overbought/oversold condition.

b22 said...

Ra,

sure, I'm familiar with what it is, but tick can cover such a wide range in as little as 5 minutes I'm never ever trading that short term so just not a tool that applies much to what I'm doing/looking at....therefore, I really I have no clue what any single day in there means

I've only seen a little bit of work on the longer term studies on it but the best stuff seems to be some basic short term mechanical systems with it.

What I like to look at is the weekly. If there is a very low TICK reading and the following week closes even lower but TICK doesn't then a oversold condition exists (and vice versa).

b22 said...

Ra,
that makes sense

do you combine it with anything else to help with some confirmation?

I look at MACD to see if it changed direction and started rising. Williams %R to see if went below 10 and turned up.

Existing home WTE, Philly Fed WTE, LEI BTE (but down m/m). Market reversed hard but is now back up. Must be due to Fed whisperings.

Roundup Herbicide Linked To Parkinson's-Related Brain Damage
Sayer Ji, Contributor
Activist Post

Alarming new research published in the journal Neurotoxicology and Teratology supports the emerging connection between glyphosate, the active ingredient in Roundup herbicide, and neurodegenerative conditions such as Parkinson’s disease and Parkinsonian disorders.

Published this month (April, 2012), the new study entitled "Glyphosate induced cell death through apoptotic and authophagic mechanisms," investigated the potential brain-damaging effects of herbicides, which the authors stated "have been recognized as the main environmental factor associated with neurodegenerative disorders, such as Parkinson’s disease." ..."

U.S. Stocks Little Changed as Earnings Offset Economy

This is the new title for both articles. So it was the same article that kept changing titles.

SEC going after Egan Jones....nice.

AmenRa said...

I saw that. Egan Jones downgraded the US twice. Administration figures with all of the hoopla over EU debt and WTE economic data that taking out a particular credit rating agency would go virtually unnoticed.

SPX rejected SMA(21). Got about as close as it could. Even with SMA(21) sloping down didn't help.

AmenRa said...

Appears the bears said "to hell with opex" follwed by "come get some". SMA(50) was collateral damage.

AmenRa said...

I'm still amazed that there is very little movement in DXY, EURUSD, AUDJPY, EURCHF or GOLD.

aw, come on AAIP

whats wrong with spraying a little agent orange around your garden to kill some weeds?

;-)

I actually prefer to use salt to kill weeds. That does depend on the area that needs it. Mainly for vegetation killing sprees.

Dear DU Supporter,

As we celebrate our 75th Anniversary we want to thank our DU members and volunteers who have enabled us to achieve important victories for wetlands and waterfowl. Together we've conserved more than 12 million acres of vital waterfowl habitat across North America.

But right now...

We have a real fight on our hands.

The challenges we face today are more serious than ever. The rate of wetlands loss has increased 140% in the last seven years. Since 1950 U.S. wetland loss equals more than the surface area of Lakes Superior and Erie combined.

How you can help: Support our 75th Anniversary campaign with a gift of $40 or more today and we will send you the DU 75th Anniversary Performance Pullover....
