Happy New Year...

It's official... We're now a police state...

Stand up and take a bow all you people who voted for Obama because you wanted "Hope & Change"...

You sure got it!... & now you're going to GIT (as in "mo") it even more...

to the End..

was to be "to that End.."

~~

also, to cv--'s point, where, exactly, does the, continued, support for ol' #44 come from?

I'll have to admit..that dude turned out, even, worse than I wanted to imagine..

cv, that's scary

@AAibid

X2, I'll have to admit..that dude turned out, even, worse than I wanted to imagine..

... and we have this hanging over our heads...
2012 another $1.6T deficit
2013-2014 $20T national debt

what's gonna happen when world recession/mega-unemployment happens?
Inflation? seems it may be the only way out.

Happy New Year All, feeling after 2011, 2012 may be "you ain't seen nothing yet!"

Happy New Year All, feeling after 2011, 2012 may be "you ain't seen nothing yet!"

Ironic... because cv (under my moniker) at ZH, these past few months, has been using that exact phrase as the comical campaign slogan for OBAMA 2012... Been getting a lot of laughs outta that...

---

NFL

Despite the minor "nuances" (read: DAILY EQUITY CANDLESTICKS trading FIAT)... Cv's MACRO NFL picture has thus far weathered the slings & arrows of the NFL season...

http://fantasy-sports-nation.blogspot.com/2011/08/fantasy-sports-nation-2011-nfl-season.html

Note: My FINAL picks were (& still are)...

Green Bay - New Orleans - NFC

New England - Baltimore - AFC

(with New England & the Saints going to the Superbowl)...

MACRO bitchez... (of course it's all CAPTAIN OBVIOUS now, but there were countless distractions during the season where cv was a 'fool')... & of course... now that it's mainly in the books... there will be ZERO in the way of "NICE TRADE CV" accolades coming... Instead... I expect the usual parade of "LORD OF BOASTS" accusations to filter in in 5...4...3...2... (mostly from disgruntled Raiders fans I'm guessing - whose team choked on the dime)...

---

@AAIP... where, exactly, does the, continued, support for ol' #44 come from?

Umm... Forgive me for being an asshole, but I'd guess that the 'support' you mention for #44, stems from the same certain DENIAL portion of the human brain that thinks playing with POKEMON CARDS (US Dollar denominated equities), is still an engaging form of entertainment...

With regards to Obama... I think I'd figured that out as early as 2007...

Unfortunately (my bad)... it took me until August 2010 to figure that out about the S&P...

That's why nobody likes me around here anymore...

CV said...

I will say something though...

Something just dawned on me TODAY (as I was watching Ravens-Cincy)...

The Superbowl thios year is in INDY...

It would be fucking IRONIC if Baltimore were to WIN THE SUPERBOWL (in Indy)... The first year Indy ever hosted it...

It would serve that MF 'Irsay' family right being as they acted as typical [not to be mentioned 'anti-semitical' comment here], when they did a Bernanke, Paulson, Geithner, Dimon, Blankfein [insert OTHER jerk of your choice here], and vanned the Colts away in the middle of the fucking night in 1983...

Now otherwise... Have a nice day & year everyone in your politically correct la-la lands...

CV said...

@AAIP

BTW... If you're still interested...

It's VERY micro... But I'll stick with the Giants tonight... Mainreasoning is due to...

- Cowboys choke
- I like history in matchups... Falcons have to play whoever wins... If the Giants win, they play in NY... Falcons suck on the road (which sets up a Giants - GB game in Lambeau)... Giants beat Brett Favre last time & went on to win the SB... Green Bay reverses that this time (only to lose to the Saints the week after)...

& the rest... as they say... is H-I-S-T-O-R-Y...

Those who don't respect history are doomed to repeat it... & furthermore... THOSE WHO RESPECT HISTORY TOO MUCH are doomed to become technical stock analysts & mis-engage that THE FUTURE will be about Jetpacks & fiat waves...

CV said...

But wait...

Let me give my "official" (Goldman Sachs) analysis about the Cowboys-Giants...

There's probably a 50% chance that the Giants will win this game...

Now - pay me my commission for that astute analysis & I'll move on...

cv--,

haven't started watching the NY-DAL game, yet, though, I think you're correct in going with the NYG..

it'll be, somewhat, interesting to see what the '9ers do the Playoffs, tho, def., the Packers need to be 'weary'/'should watch-out'..

AFC-wise, that was amazing that the Raiders coughed it up..now, DEN & CIN are 'Playoff Bound' ..

and, while this..

Green Bay - New Orleans - NFC

New England - Baltimore - AFC

(with New England & the Saints going to the Superbowl)...

still, 'remains to be seen'...obviously, you're 'off to a good start'..

and, really, they do seem to be 4 best Teams in the NFL, at this juncture..

so, "Nice Trade, cv-- ~!" :)

@AAIP

"nice trade"... THANK YOU... OMG THANK YOU...

Finally... There's someone around here who has the class to say that out loud...

Fuck... I don't kno what's going to happen (but I don't mind making predictions)... If those predictions (such as - the US DOLLAR in the end, is a doomed currency & those engaged in trading parcels of it [for speculative profit], are WEIRD & make me unpopular)...

So be it... I've never struggled with 'popularity' issues... In fact, it's been the centerpiece of my career (both good & bad)...

As for the PLAYOFFS

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-oSFYxDGKy8

---

Jeez... To me it's kinda simple (which is PART OF my pre-season predictions because I'd considered "seedings" early on (only missed on a TIEBREAK which dropped the Saints from #2 to #3)...

Anyway...

Giants (It's 21-0 at halftime now... so I'll "call" that one a BLUE STATE win)... They beat the Falcons...

Saints beat the Lions (in other wild card)...

SAINTS vs. PACKERS in NFC Championship (as I predicted)

SAINTS win (by upset) by the way...

---

I don't care who wins Cincinnati vs. Houston... It basically doesn't matter...

Steelers beat Denver...

Either way...

Steelers have to go to New England (& lose)...

Cincy (or Houston) goes to Baltimore (& loses)...

So... As I said On 8/31/11... We've got...

New England vs. Baltimore (AFC Championship)

Saints vs. Packers (NFC Championship)...

Naturally... I'm pulling for the Ravens... I think the Saints will beat the Packers...

Either will lose to either the Ravens or Patriots...

---

The PATRIOTS have the 'Maya Kraft' voodoo going for them (which I mentioned back in July)... The RAVENS have the (FUCK YOU IRSAY) voodoo going for them because the SB is in Indy...

WTF ever...

Nobody cares... But if the SPX 'gaps up' over 1260 (or down, for that matter)... It'll be the SIGNAL that ALL OF HUMANITY rests its weary hopes on...

Life or death on fiat in 2012 bitchez! :-)

Jesus, give it a rest already. We know you stopped trading the "PAPER & FIAT" markets. So quit complaining. If you want to talk football then talk football. If you want to talk about surviving an economic collapse then do so. But please do everyone a favor and stop bitching about trading.

Happy New Year
