LEFTBACK'S BOND REPORT

The QE2 Bond Report 11.2.10

Trading was brisk in fixed income as Ben Bernanke prepared to announce asset purchases in a variety of asset classes, including and not limited to, Treasuries, corporate bonds, and mortgage backed securities. "I will even buy my own jock strap if it helps prevent deflation" offered the Chairman to CNBC reporter Melissa Francis as he entered the FOMC's monthly meeting. In the bond pits in Chicago, there were several bids entered for JCKSTRP.01

Corpies: LQD 0.47%; AGG 0.18%; JNK 0.54%; HYG 0.49%;
Govies: TLT 1.31%; IEI 0.08%; TIP 0.24%
Hedgies: TBT -2.54%

We are not involved here, other than being long HYG/JNK and laughing hysterically as all assets go vertical.

Saw a NYT Exit Poll: 4 in 10 voters identified themselves as "Pro Tea Party."

That's a shit-ton of "angry white men."

AT,

As I mentioned this morning, in watching the restoration of sanity rally clips it also appears there are a lot of angry white people there as well, so angry in fact they've forgotten how to read.

angry whites taking over I guess.

karen,

thanks for that KD link on Citi earlier. Sadly there aren't many KidD's out there thinking that through. Gee...wonder why Citi would do that?

Damn bird got in the house when I wasn't looking. So I close all the doors and wait for it to come back downstairs. I hear something hit the door so I look out and its just standing there looking back at me. I walked towards it and it walks ahead of me into the other room. I prop open the front door and try to get it to go out but it heads back towards the kitchen. I walk around the other way and it walks back into the other room. I grabbed a large towel and guide it out the door. Then it just stands on the front steps for the next 15 minutes. LMAO.

Maybe the bird is looking for cover for the approaching Creditcane?

The bird wasn't scared. It didn't try to fly away from me. It just walked faster as I followed it. I guess it was hoping I'd let it out of the house.

thats really funny Ra.

Ok, I'm going to throw these two links up and suggest them for reading, a warning, it's political, and it may anger some people. I don't know the source so who knows how exactly accurate this really is:

McFearless,

I don't want this getting out, but I was the one who provided the information for that story.

lots of black eyed peas at these victory parties, CV's gotta be loving that.

Ben,

If there is any shred of truth to what you posted, it seems like a nice little scandal is coming to distract the sheeple from the real issues. Granted Obama is the biggest disappointment of my lifetime is a real issue but I digress.

AR, I have more than a few bird stories of my own! (sometimes you wonder how big their brains are! LOL..)

LOVED this line: IT'S COMING!!! HIDE YOUR CHILDREN!!!

Altho, maybe that has been there for weeks and I've been pretending I don't have any children.. or that they are on their own now..

>> Rand Paul elected in Kentucky.

I hope he does some good.

I sure hope the Civil Rights Act issue was something he thinks about mainly from an academic perspective and doesn't want to roll the clock back on.

Alright, quiet in here for election night. Good night, folks.
